I am a digital photographer who embraces a wide array of subject matter, including architecture, portraits, nature and abstracts. I am to capture a unique perspective on those things that are fleeting, can often be overlooked or considered mundane to many. Through this approach I capture the personality and essence of each subject at a specific moment. It is in these details that I find an art form all in itself, a piece of myself, a truth.
The photographs I consider among my best are those in which I have an emotional connection. I wait for that connection to reveal itself, for the purpose of the photograph to emerge. I won’t offer anything less in a piece of art, even if it may be considered interesting by a broad audience. Something has to move within me, I have to give a piece of myself.
But, as with all art, what matters is what it means to you, if it resonates with something in your life, stirs emotions or desires, or inspires the artist in you.
